S.P.A.C. Consultancy, in collaboration with ReliaSoft that holds the worldwide leading position in Consultancy Reliability Analysis, organizes the Reliability Prediction Training on December 8–9, 2009, at Bilkent Hotel, Ankara.

The training named Standards Based Reliability Prediction Training, will be given by Adamantios Mettas (M.Sc), ReliaSoft’s Vice-President, who is responsible for Product Development.

The training will be about reliability prediction, which is a considerably new field in Turkey, and during the training both the theoretical topics and the applied examples will be discussed in detail. Through workshops, and by using software, which will be installed on their own computers, the participants will learn how to calculate the reliability levels of the systems and products that they work on.

Through the training, the participants will find the opportunity to use and familiarize with the Lambda Predict 3 software, which was completely developed and updated by ReliaSoft. During the training, the applications will be based on world’s 3 most preferred prediction standards (MIL-HDBK-217, Bellcore/Telcordia and NSWC).

Reliability Prediction Analysis

Around the world, Reliability Prediction Analysis is being used especially in the fields where the product reliability is essential, such as Defense Industry, Aviation, Space Industry and Automotive. When the Standards Based Reliability Prediction Analysis is applied to the projects, it provides to achieve basic results as follows;

• As it can be applied even in the designing stage of the product, it has various guiding qualities for the R&D studies, and it has a low cost.
• It can create a big economic value, as it gives the opportunity to evaluate diverse design alternatives.

Instructor

Adamantios Mettas (M.Sc) who will be the instructor of the training is ReliaSoft’s Vice-President, who is responsible for Product Development. During the period he worked as an expert engineer, he pioneered in the development of security software programs, which are the leading names in their fields, such as Weibull++, ALTA, RGA and BlockSim. Until now, more than 2,000 engineers and technical personnel have participated in the training he has given. In addition to his educator and researcher personality, he also acted as the consultant and project manager in many fields from Oil and Natural Gas industry to Automotive industry, from Semiconductors and Defense industry to Aviation and Space industry.
